GenNext Designer Registration

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Fashion students who are in final year of the course or have recently passed out from a reputed fashion institute or are working as trainee / intern under an experienced fashion designer or brand nationally or internationally would fall under this category.
  2. The collection should consist of women’s / men’s, pret line, couture, accessories, jewellery or shoes and bridal wear. (Not children’s wear).
  3. All applications for “Vaunt International Fashioner Week” are screened and examined by the VIFW Jury Panel.
  4. The panel comprises of leading fashion journalists, leading fashion designers and fashion institute faculties / directors.
  5. To qualify – All designer applicants must have their credentials ready and designers can present ready to wear garments under menswear or womenswear category.

Young Designer Registration

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants should be at-least over six months to one year in the business.
  2. Collection should consist of women’s / men’s, pret line, couture, accessories, jewellery or shoes and bridal wear. (Not children’s wear).
  3. Be the entrepreneur and show your ability in the promotion of fashion business in your country commercially.
  4. We will be giving preferences to designers who have previously worked with or under some of the famous designers / retail house or have developed best innovative designs so far and have been acclaimed by industry members.
  5. To qualify – All designer applicants must have all credentials ready and designers can present ready to wear garments under menswear or womenswear category.

Phase One - Application Process

Designers are asked to provide two industry-based references; we suggest that a buyer or journalist is a relevant referee.

Phase Two - E- Panel

  1. Once an applicant has completed the online form, it will be reviewed and the candidate will be notified by email whether the application has been accepted.
  2. Designers that have successfully cleared phase two will be reviewed by an e-panel of key industry members. Please do not submit samples unless specifically requested to do so.
  3. Applicants may be asked to submit additional supporting information, which will be considered alongside the application to reach a final decision.

Additional Information

  1. An e-panel of at least 6 judges is selected each season which includes key opinion formers, media, buyers and representatives from the IFPC.
  2. The panel acts in an advisory capacity only. There may be certain cases where the IFPC feels a particular applicant may or may not be suitable for International Fashioner Week, and the IFPC reserves their final say.

Events Schedule Criteria

  1. Events organised by IFPC patrons, sponsors, VIFW designers, showroom designers and press affiliates will be listed.
  2. Events by any other businesses, brands and press will be internally reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  3. An event will not be listed if it conflicts with the show schedule.
  4. Off-Schedule presentations will not be listed on the Events Schedule.
